Giants start off season with 16-7 win
It was kind of ugly – but a win is a win in the NFL. We started the season off with a 16-7 home victory over the Washington Redskins on Thursday. Things looked bright from the beginning as we started off with a 16-0 lead early. The Skins drove and scored to end the half making us all a little nervous. The 2nd half was a defensive battle. No points were scored and both offenses looked dismal.
But, we won! Plax had a studly game and Jacobs was his same old self. Eli looked ok in the first half. The defense looked like it didn’t miss a beat after last years Superbowl. Let’s keep it rollin!
